PM J.Erdenebat receives Sergey Donskoy
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Prime Minister J.Erdenebat welcomed S.E.Donskoy, the Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Environment and Co-Chair of the Mongolia-Russia Intergovernmental Commission, on December 13. The 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economy, Science and Technology began today at the State House.
While mentioning the relations and cooperation of Mongolia and the Russian Federation has been prospering on the level of strategic partnership, the Premier noted that it is crucial for both sides to make great focus on economic and commercial ties.
The sides also said that the cooperation at the ministerial levels has been increasingly developing, and emphasized that it is indispensable for working groups of the both sides to work with more effective approach towards an issue regarding real estates of the Russian Federation in the Mongolian territory in compliance with principles set out in the mid-term program on strategic partnership development, on improving the economic efficiency and performance of the Ulaanbaatar Railway joint venture and boosting trade in border areas of the two countries.
The dignitaries agreed the establishment of a free trade agreement between Mongolia and the Eurasian Economic Union is conducive to bilateral trade as well.
