Monography of former Ambassador in Mongolian language published

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A presentation of a monography in Mongolian language entitled “Five times in Mongolia” by Huang Jia Kui, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Mongolia was  held at the Chinese Culture Center in Ulaanbaatar last Friday.  

The book describes the history of Mongolia-China relationship, visits of  high-ranking Chinese delegates to Mongolia, important events in Mongolia- China ties, the Mongolian culture and traditions, the real life story of the former Chinese diplomat in Mongolia.

Starting from 1973 his diplomatic career had been connected with Mongolia. In 1999-2003 , he served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Mongolia. In 2003 Ambassador Huang Jia Kui was  awarded the Order of Polar Star for his contribution to the bilateral relations and cooperation.

The original chinese version of his monography has been published many years ago. It consists of 160 000 Chinese hieroglyphs.

At the presentation of his book,  Huang Kui Jia noted that his book will help readers to understand the real history of China-Mongolia ties and contribute to the further development of relations between China and Mongolia.

After his speech, the incumbent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Mongolia, Xing Haiming compared the new book of his predecessor Huang Jia Kui with a blooming rose in a cold winter day giving people hope. Then he noted that the Chinese version of this book is a bestseller in China and expressed his hope that the Mongolians will like his monography in Mongolian language.
