Manuscripts about Mongolian Nomads exhibited in Moscow

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the spirit of the commemoration of the 95th jubilee of Mongolia-Russia diplomatic ties, the State Museum of Oriental Arts in Moscow staged an exhibition named “Books of Mongolian Nomads: Travel through time and space” between November 2 and 8.

The exhibition displayed the collection of ancient manuscripts, archived in the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences, based in Saint Petersburg.

The State Museum of Oriental Arts has more than 147 thousand showpieces in its treasury. The museum chamber of cultural heritages connected to Mongolia opened in 1998.
