Mongolia intends to collaborate with EBRD in public transport

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia wants to cooperate with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in a development of public transport of Ulaanbaatar, said S.Batbold, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, when he met Friday Svetlana Radchenko, deputy director of the EBRD Division on Russia, Central Asia and Mongolian investment affairs and senior banker.

During the previous cabinet, the administrative office of Ulaanbaatar and the EBRD concurred to collaborate in processing of solid waste and renovating the sewage plant, Ms Radchenko said and then asked the Mayor whether the city continued these works.

In response, the Mayor said a working group will be set up to learn opportunities to co-implement the projects on above issues. He asked Ms Radchenko to meet again after making a concrete decision.
