Danshig Naadam religious festival approaching

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the margin of the Friendly Ulaanbaatar Program, “Danshig Naadam – Khuree Tsam” religious festival is to be held on August 6 and 7. An essential part of this festival is held at Chinggis Square, gathering this time 500 monks for chants for better life for all the faithful and all people and animals on this universe.

The festival is to continue at Khui Doloon Khudag – Naadam Complex with Khuree Tsam, religious masked dance, competitions among Buddhist monks and the three manly games.

Also, 350 contortionists will perform “Legends of Mountains and Rivers” show.
