Freestyle wrestlers to compete for Olympic quotas
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Freestyle Wrestling Federation of Mongolia has selected some wrestlers who will take part in the Olympic qualification tournament of Asian zone, which will be held this March 18-20 in Astana of Kazakhstan.
The tournament will give two Olympic quotas in each weight category totaling 36 quotas. The previous year’s World Championship gave six quotas for men’s four and women’s two divisions.
Our national team has included O.Uitumen (men’s -86kg), D.Khuderbulga (96kg), E.Narangerel (women’s 48kg), E.Sumiya (53kg), P.Orkhon (58kg) and B.Odonchimeg (75kg).
Men’s team is coached by B.Bayaraa, a chief coach of the national men’s team, while the women’s team--by B.Batbayar and Z.Duvchin.
