Famous novelist B.Baast turns 95

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj greeted the 95th birthday of People’s Literature Master and State Honored Cultural Figure B.Baast at a scientific conference themed “History of 20th century’s literature and novelist B.Baast” last Friday.

In the greeting, sounded by R.Bold, an advisor to the President, during this conference, the leader of Mongolia congratulated Mr Baast on the birthday and wished him health and all the best.

Born 1921 in Bayan-Olgii aimag’s Altantsogts soum, B.Baasat is one of the famous novelists and poets of Mongolia. He wrote his first poem named “My homeland” at the age of 15. His creative works include novels for children “Three baby goats”, “Cute Baadii”, “Panicky rabbit”, song poems named “Love song”, “On the river bank under autumn night”, “See you off”, novels “Flower of Altai”, “Ballad of swan” and others.
