A.Bakei submits drafts to parliament
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A parliamentarian A.Bakei Wednesday submitted to parliament a draft amendment to the law on regime of plenary meeting of parliamentary session and a draft resolution of parliament on approving a rule of running public hearings.
The parliamentary resolution has been formulated by A.Bakei, N.Battsereg and N.Enkhbold MPs due to requirements to create a regime for organizing the public hearings at parliamentary Standing committees and sub-committees and to have a specific rule on organizing such hearings in connection with approving another rule--on appointment hearings.
The draft amendment to the law on regime of parliamentary session reflects a new chapter on ways of organizing hearings on resolutions of parliament, Standing committees and sub-committees, on appointments, on general and budgetary monitoring, said A.Bakei.
To be regulated under an appendix of the parliamentary resolution on approval of rule for organizing public hearings, the rule consists of background and cases of public hearings, ensuring a preparation for hearings and running then. It also regulates the matters on running public hearings by the government, state administrative bodies and local self-governance bodies.
If these drafts are passed, fundamentals will be created to realize the law on public hearings, and the correlation of laws will be ensured. Moreover, a general standard and regime will be made to run public hearings, said Bakei.
