Elmar Gasanov to bring world classics to Mongolian stage

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Elmar Gasanov, the world-famous Ukrainian pianist, has been invited to Mongolia, to stage a one-time elite concert on October 31 for the opening of The Corporate Hotel& Convention Centre’s high-class concert hall.  

The pianist has been once before to perform at the ceremony for launching first sales of Kawai musical instruments in Mongolia.

On Saturday, Gasanov will play Beethoven’s Sonata 23 op.57 “Appasionata”, Russian Rakhmaninov’s “Variations on a Theme of Corelli”, Brahms’s Piano quintet f moll op.34, and other rarely performed world classics, on the Kawai piano, which has 90 years history.

At the concert, Russian violin quartet “RusQuaret” will also perform.
