Speaker at Asian Political Parties' Special Conference on the Silk Road
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A delegation headed by Mr Z.Enkhbold, Speaker of parliament and Chairman of the Democratic Party of Mongolia (DP) is participating in the "Asian Political Parties' Special Conference on the Silk Road" kicked off Wednesday in Beijing, China.
The conference is running with three main topics “Political and economic integration”, “Human and humanitarian sector” with participation of representatives of political parties of Asian countries.
“The Silk Road of 21st century initiative has two directions. First one will connect Europe through Xinjiang-Uyghur and Kazakhstan, and another one is through Mongolia and Russia. The matter of Silk Road initiative and its involvement of Mongolia has been fortified during a trilateral meeting of the Presidents of Mongolia, Russia and China, so there is no fear to Mongolia not to be included in the initiative,” said Mr Enkhbold at the “Political and economic integration” sub-meeting.
At the end of the conference, the participants will release a declaration on the cooperation of political parties of Asian countries.
