Rain expected in most parts of the country this week

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in most parts of the country in the next few days.
Heavy rain is expected in most parts of central and eastern aimags, and in eastern parts of Gobi aimags on July 2 and 3, while thunderstorms are expected in northern parts of western and central aimags, and some parts of eastern and Gobi aimags on July 4 and 5. Temporary strong winds are expected before the rain.
In the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, in the head of Zavkhan river, in the basin of Terelj river, the temperature will range from +5 to +10 degrees Celsius during the night, and +17 to +22 during the day.
In the desert area near the Altai Mountains, the temperature will be +16 to +21 during the night, and +28 to +33 during the day.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be +10 to +15 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +23 to +28 degrees Celsius. Hotter temperatures are expected in the southern region on July 4 and 5.
