Rain expected in the eastern region

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring has reported that rain is expected in the eastern region of the country, causing temperature drops today on June 4.
Precipitation is expected in northern parts of central and eastern aimags on June 5 and 6, in the eastern aimags on June 7. Wind speed will be 13-15 m/sec in some parts of the country on June 5 and 6, and in the gobi and plains on June 7 and 8, causing dust storms.
Temperature will drop in the northern region on June 5 and in the eastern region on June 6. In mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentei, in the basins of Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon and Ulz rivers, the night-time temperature will range from 0 to +5 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +12 to +17.
In the depression of the Great Lakes and in the southern gobi region, the temperature will be +13 to +18 during the night, and +25 to +30 during the day.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will be +4 to +9 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +16 to +21 degrees Celsius. Temperature will rise again in the western region on June 6 and in most parts of the country from June 7.
