Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring has issued a warning as rain and wet snow are expected in northern parts of aimags in the western and gobi region, eastern parts of central aimags and most parts of eastern aimags on May 15, in most parts of western aimags, western parts of central aimags on May 16, most parts of western and central aimags, western parts of eastern aimags on May 17, and some parts of the country on May 18.
Wind speed will be 16-18 m/sec in most parts of the country on May 15 and 16, and 18-20 m/sec, reaching 24 m/sec at some times in the gobi and plains on May 17 and 18, causing dust storms and blizzard.
During most times of this week, in the depression of Darkhad, in mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul, Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, in the basins of Ider, Tes, Tuul and Terelj rivers, the night-time temperature will range from -7 to -12 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +3 to +8. In the southern gobi region, the temperature will be +4 to +9 during the night, and +19 to +24 during the day. In other areas, the night-time temperature will be -3 to +2 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +9 to +14 degrees Celsius.
