WeatherUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Snowfall and blizzard are expected in some regions on January 21 and in eastern region on January 22. Winds will get stronger in most regions on January 21 and 22, in the Gobi and steppes on January 23, reaching 12-14 m/sec.
The nighttime temperature in the depression of Darkhad, the valleys of Ider and Tes rivers and in the head of Zavkhan river will be -49-44 Celsius, and the daytime, -38-33.
In the depression of Uvs Lake, Khuren junction, Khentii Mountains, the banks of Orkhon-Selenge, Kharaa, Eroo, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon and Khalkh rivers and in Dariganga steppe, the nighttime temperature will be -40-35, and the daytime, -31-26.
In western part of the Gobi, the nighttime temperature will be -29-24, and the daytime, -19-14.
In other regions, the nighttime temperature will be -33-28, and the daytime, -24-19 Celsius.
Temperatures will slightly rise in western region starting on January 23 and in most region from January 24.
