Winds will get stronger in steppes and the Gobi on January 1 and 2, in Altai Mountains and front valley of Artsbogd on January 3 and 4, reaching 12-14 m/sec.
Temperatures will drop in most regions. The nighttime temperature will be -36-31 Celsius, and the daytime, -25-20, around Uvs lake, the depression of Darkhad, in Khentii Mountains, the valley of Ider and Tes rivers, the banks of Orkhon-Selenge, Kharaa, Eroo, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Khalkh and Ulz rivers and in Dariganga steppe.
In western part of the Gobi, the nighttime temperature will be -20-15, and the daytime, -8-3.
In other regions, the nighttime temperature will be -26-21, and the daytime, -17-11.
