“My Mongolia Entertainment” LLC to Broadcast the Olympic Games in Kyrgyzstan

Ulaanbaatar, June 7, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The “My Mongolia Entertainment” LLC of Mongolia, in cooperation with the National Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic (KTRK), will broadcast XXXIII Summer Olympics "Paris 2024in Kyrgyzstan.


Specifically, the “My Mongolia Entertainment” LLC will provide the live broadcast feed of the Olympics to the KTRK. It is a milestone in the history of the television industry in Mongolia. For the first time, a Mongolian broadcaster will transmit the Olympic Games live to an international television. To that extent, M. Ulambadrakh, Director of the “My Mongolia Entertainment” LLC, and Bolotbek Tillebaev, Director General of the KTRK, signed an Agreement on Cooperation on June 7, 2024.


Director of the “My Mongolia Entertainment” LLC M. Ulambadrakh said, “The Japanese company owns the rights to broadcast the Paris Olympics in 22 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Before, we obtained the rights to broadcast the Olympic Games in Mongolia from this company. Also, our company has secured the rights to broadcast the Paris Olympics in Kyrgyzstan, the Central Asian country. After extensive negotiations, Kyrgyz TV signed a Cooperation Agreement with us today. We believe this laid a foundation for further cooperation between Mongolian televisions and Central Asian publishing and information companies.”


Director General of the KTRK Bolotbek Tillebaev highlighted, “This Agreement marks the beginning of our future cooperation. I am confident that we will continue to collaborate in many fields. I am pleased to sign the official contract to broadcast the Paris Olympics in Kyrgyzstan with Mongolian Television.”


The “My Mongolia Entertainment” LLC successfully aired the "Tokyo 2020Summer Olympics, the "Beijing 2022Winter Olympics, and the "Hangzhou 2022Asian Games.


The KTRK has channels in six cities and five provinces of Kyrgyzstan and employs about 1,000 people. Previously, the company has broadcasted major sports events, including the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Tokyo Summer Olympics, in Kyrgyzstan.
