Mongolian Teams Capture All Golds at NBA 3X PH Tournament

Ulaanbaatar, December 14, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The “NBA 3X Philippines Invitational” 3x3 Basketball Championship took place at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay City, Philippines, on December 9-10, 2023, bringing together outstanding local and international talents. 


The 11th edition of NBA 3X Philippines featured a total of 16 men’s and women’s teams, comprising participants from Mongolia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. 


Mongolian men’s (Ulaanbaatar Energy) and women’s (Ulaanbaatar Amazons) teams emerged victorious at the NBA 3X Philippines Invitational. Specifically, Ulaanbaatar Energy edged out Team MCFASolver Tech Centrale from the Philippines with a score of 21-18 in a highly competitive men’s final. On the women's side, Team Ulaanbaatar Amazons defeated Team Sakura Funabashi from Japan with a score of 16-6 in the gold medal match. 


NBA 2004 Champion Richard Hamilton presented the awards to the medalists of the Championship.
