Morin Khuur Presented to the National Theater of Miskolc, Hungary

Ulaanbaatar, May 5, 2023 /MONTSAME/. On April 22, 2023, marking the 200th anniversary of the National Theater of Miskolc, Hungary, Ambassador of Mongolia to Hungary Sainnyambuu Baatarjav met Mr. Artur Béres Attila, the Director of the Theater, and Mr. Szőcs, the Director of the Theater of Miskolc City.
Over the course of the meeting, Mr. Szőcs shared details about the upcoming musical drama "Tatars in Hungary" and expressed his interest in collaborating with Mongolia for a performance of traditional Mongolian music and throat singing. As a result, the parties agreed to co-organize the Performance.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Sainnyambuu Baatarjav presented the Mongolian traditional musical instrument “Morin Khuur” to the Theater of Miskolc as a gift.
