GIZ SPACES project steering committee meeting takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April
15, 2022, the Steering Committee Meeting of ‘Supporting Protected Areas for the
Conservation of Ecosystem Services (SPACES)’ project was held. State Secretary
of Ministry of Environment and Tourism Mr. Battulga E., Director of Department
of Protected Area Management Mr. Batmunkh D., and the representatives of the
project co-implementing organizations attended in the meeting.
During the meeting, the
results of the project implemented activities in 2021 were reviewed and the
project’s Annual Plan 2022 was presented and approved.
SPACES is supported by the
German Government and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in cooperation with the Mongolian
Ministry of Environment and Tourism. In addition, the fifth component (STREAM)
of the project is jointly co-financed by European Union and the German
Government.
