Ministry of Culture to cooperate with Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Culture Ch.Nomin held a meeting with Head of the Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia Stefanie Burri last month to discuss the participation of Mongolian artists in the Venice Biennale and the Cannes Film Festival.


On March 7, Minister Ch.Nomin and Ms. Stefanie Burri signed an agreement to cooperate in having Mongolian artists take part in the 59th Venice Biennale.


Under the Agreement, the Swiss Cooperation Office in Mongolia will provide all-round support for Mongolian artists to participate in the biennial exhibition and cooperate with the Ministry of Culture in globally promoting Mongolian fine arts pieces, improving the artists’ competitiveness, developing creative and cultural industries, and bring economic benefits.
