40 new cases of COVID-19 detected, total reaches 2,247

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At the regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health today on February 12, it was reported that 40 new cases were detected in Mongolia after testing 30,468 people nationwide within the past 24 hours.

 

While one of the new cases was detected from a passenger that arrived on the charter flight en route Tokyo-Ulaanbaatar, the rest were identified among the close contacts of previously confirmed cases.

 

As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Mongolia now stands at 2,247, with 1,640 recoveries.
