Sea Buckthorn Festival takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Over the past 2 years, the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) has been implementing a project with the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce to promote value-added processing of sea buckthorn grown in Mongolia.
As part of the 'ProValue' project aimed at creating jobs in rural areas and increasing the income of small and medium sized enterprises, the Sea buckthorn Festival was organized in Uvs aimag for the fourth year.
During the festival, local companies showcased over 40 types of products including various drinks, tea, oil, aaruul (dried curds), and jam made from sea buckthorn during the festival that featured a 3-day training on ‘Branding and Online Marketing’.
