Chief of NEMA takes part in the ICDO General Assembly session

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Chief of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Brigadier General G.Ariunbuyan participated in the 24th Session of the ICDO (International Civil Defense Organization) General Assembly which took place virtually on October 14.


The participants in the session discussed the report on the activities carried out since the 23rd session of the General Assembly held in Doha in 2018, and the ICDO’s action plan for 2021-2022, reports the NEMA.


Based in Geneva, the ICDO has 57 member states, 18 observer states and 23 affiliated members. It was founded in 1931 with an aim to contribute to the improvement of civil defense agencies and structures around the world.


Mongolia joined the organization in November, 2002 as a member state and has been actively engaging in its activities.
