Anna Karenina to be premiered on October 1

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolian State Academic Theatre of Drama has created a theatrical work with ‘Anna Karenina’ by the Russian author Leo Tolstoy, one of the best classic novels in the world, and is ready to show to the audience from October 1.

Writer N.Purevdagva wrote a playscript of the ‘Anna Karenina’. The play has been directed by State Honored Artist N.Naranbaatar along with scene painter T.Gankhuyag and composer Sh. Ulziibayar.

Leo Tolstoy wrote his novel ‘Anna Karenina’ about 150 years ago. Sh.Ochirbat, one of senior translators of Mongolia, had translated the novel from Russian into Mongolian.
