Diplomas presented to first graduates of joint Bachelor’s degree program

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On August 24, diplomas of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) were presented to the first batch of students that successfully completed their studies in Japan in the framework of the joint bachelor’s degree program of the Mongolian-Japanese Engineering Education Development Project.


During the ceremony, Minister of Education and Science L.Tsedevsuren said, “I am proud of the graduates that majored in engineering technology, which is currently in high demand in our country. In particular, acquiring another bachelor’s diploma by studying in Japan - a leading country in technology is a form of turning a new page in the history of the education sector. Congratulations for becoming the first to complete the dual program by having success in your studies and leading many others. I wish the best in your future endeavors.”


Students enrolled in the program that aims to prepare highly skilled engineering specialists graduate with dual diplomas by majoring in one of 3 professions (engineer, architect, and mechanic engineer), studying at MUST for 2.5 years and 10 universities of the Japanese University Consortium for the following 2 years. 

 

From a total of 320 students planned to be enrolled in the joint bachelor’s degree program, 172 students have been enrolled so far.
