Unified system for social welfare service to launch tomorrow

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Labor and Social Protection A.Ariunzaya informed that social welfare services are to be delivered in digital form starting from tomorrow, August 26.
During the regular meeting of the Cabinet convened on August 25, Minister A.Ariunzaya presented about actions being implemented in directions of digitizing social welfare services. Specifically, goals have been set out in the Government Action Program for 2020-2024 to digitize labor and social protection sector fully and make services transparent, accessible and faster. Within the goal, services related to pension, allowance and assistance will be delivered to citizens in digital form in the first place without requiring relevant documents of the citizen.
Thus, conditions created for citizens not to bring number of documents and materials and necessarily come to welfare service providers and stand in a queue at a bank to get monetary allowance. With introduction of the “unified system for social welfare service”, citizens now can make their requests to be involved in welfare service with the help of ehalamj.mn, “TUTS” public service kiosks and ebarimt mobile application.
For starters, some 450 thousand citizens can receive their monetary allowance for the elders, allowance for pregnant mother, 0-3 year-old-child care allowance, twin support allowance, single parent allowance and allowance for glorious mother using the online system.
