received Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia Jörn
Rosenberg and exchanged views on bilateral cooperation and trade and economic
issues.
Mongolia and the Federal Republic of Germany cooperate in many fields. New situations arisen due to the global outbreak of COVID-19 create new challenges in relations and cooperation. The two sides expressed willingness to focus on developing bilateral cooperation in harmony with the new situation, despite the limited conditions of this circumstance for the development of bilateral relations in a traditional way.
They also exchanged views on how to organize a meeting and high-level visits scheduled for this year. At the meeting, the Ambassador said that Germany would give financial support for Mongolia’s response to COVID-19.
