14 peacekeepers make recovery from COVID- 19

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During the regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health which held today, Head of Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) A.Ambaselmaa reported that all test results of 615 people came out negative after tests carried out at three laboratories yesterday, August 4.
Moreover, 14 peacekeepers arrived from Afghanistan on July 12 and 14 have been recovered and transferred to the next stage of isolation.
There are 293 confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded in Mongolia, 244 of them have made recovery and 49 people are under treatment now. 46 of the people undergoing treatment are in mild and 3 are in serious health condition.

total of 2823 people are being quarantined at isolation facilities so far. 32
general doctors, 69 resident doctors and 32 civil servants are providing
treatment and services to them. 76 people are receiving in-patient treatment at
the Military Central Hospital and two patients are in its intensive treatment
ward. COVID-19 surveillance study has been conducted on over 5000 railroad workers in 11 local trains,” Head
of Public Relations, Surveillance and Operational Management Department of
the Ministry of Health D.Narangerel reported.
