China vows to help Mongolia fight COVID-19

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 29, Minister of Defense G.Saikhanbayar received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui.  


Mutually expressing their delight with uninterrupted expansion and growth of bilateral relations in the defense sector of the two countries in recent years with a number of tangible results, making significant contribution to the development of comprehensive strategic partnership between Mongolia and China, the sides at the meeting exchanged views on strengthening and enriching cooperation with numerous new contents in the future.


While expressing his hope that the both countries can overcome this difficult time together with the help of solidarity and joint efforts, Defense Minister G.Saikhanbayar emphasized the donation aid of medical kits provided by China’s Ministry of Defense to Mongolia’s Military Central Hospital, one of Mongolia’s main facilities for COVID-19 isolation and treatment, has been serving as a huge support to Mongolia’s military doctors, nurses and healthcare staff to overcome hardships at the lowest-risk way.


In response, Ambassador Chai Wenrui expressed gratitude to the President of Mongolia and the Mongolian people on giving their helping hand to China to combat the pandemic, and pledges to extend all-round support to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
