Ministry of Culture projected to have 7 departments and 78 staff
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting dated July 16, the Cabinet set up a working team, which is committed to develop action program of the Government of Mongolia for 2020-2024 and a draft action plan on its implementation.
Minister of Mongolia and Chief of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government L.Oyun-Erdene will serve as a team leader. The Cabinet tasked the working team to formulate the program in a short time making it coherent with Constitution of Mongolia, Law on State Budget and other documents on Mongolia’s development policy and planning and to adopt it.
The Cabinet also approved a working strategy, program on organizational change and structure and limit on job positions of the new Ministry of Culture.
Based
on the state policy on culture, documents on Mongolia’s development policy and
planning, Constitution of Mongolia, Law on Culture, resolution and Law on the Protection
of Cultural Heritage, the program has been developed taking into consideration
of global trends, tangible condition of culture industry and the national
feature. And the
Ministry of Culture was planned to have seven departments namely - Strategy and
Policy Planning, State Administration and Management, Culture and
Enlightenment, Art and Artworks, Cultural Heritage, Finance and Investment and
Supervision and Internal Audit and to have 78 staff in total.
