Bayankhongor aimag to have new cricket field

Bayankhongor /MONTSAME/ A cricket field is being built in Bayankhongor aimag. The field will be used for cricket sport in summer and as ice rink in winter.
Having a special cricket field will allow children and youth to train cricket sport, improve their team working skill alongside having healthy body and spending their leisure time properly, noted an official of Cricket Federation of Bayankhongor aimag.
Currently, athletes of the federation are ensuring their preparations to take part in National Cricket Championship to be held in June and International Youth Green Games to be held in September this year.
In addition, Cricket Federation of Bayankhongor aimag has agreed to cooperate with Illawara Cricket Association (ICA) of New South Wales of Australia. Within the cooperation, the ICA will provide assistance and support of instructors, coaches and some equipment and materials to Bayankhongor aimag and involve teams and athletes of the aimag in training in Australia.
