National bandy team placed 4th in world championships
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. B-Division matches of the 2020 Bandy World Championships wrapped up in Irkutsk, Russia today.
Mongolian team lost to Slovakian
team with the final score of 3:2 and ended their tournament with 4th
place.
The first goal of the match was made by Slovakian player Martin Grell at 32nd minute of first half. But Mongolian team managed to take the lead of the game by making 2 goals consecutively. Apparently, those goals were not enough to bring them bronze medal. Slovakian team made a comeback to the game with their finishing 2 consecutive goals at 66th and 71st minute of the game and won bronze medal of the tournament.
