Mongolian wrestlers grab 12 medals in Ulan-Ude
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Wrestling U23 International Tournament in memory of two-time European Youth Champion Yuri Vlasko took place on December 2-3 at Ulan-Ude Sports Complex in Ulan-Ude, Russia.
220 wrestlers from Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Buryat, Saha, Tuva, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk and Zaibaikalsky Krai competed in 10 weight categories at the 2nd edition of the tournament.
From Mongolia 39 wrestlers of “Khasu-Megastars”, “Tulgat”, “Jenko”, “Khangai Khuchten” Club, “Khilchin” Sports Committee, “Future Stars” of Orkhon aimag, School No.73 and Mongolian State University of Education took part in the tournament and they won 12 medals, which are 1 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze medals.
