State Champion N.Batsuuri becomes world amateur sumo champion

/MONTSAME/ State Champion N.Batsuuri won the first place in absolute weight category
at the 23rd Sumo World Championships held in Osaka, Japan on October 12-13.
He triumphed
over a Japanese wrestler in the final round. Moreover, Aimag Hawk B.Badral won
a gold medal in 100 kg, becoming two-time world champion, and bronze medals
were grabbed by junior wrestlers N.Ochirsaikhan in +100 kg and B.Munkh-Ider in absolute
category. The Mongolian men's team took silver medal with team scores.
N.Zoljargal and
N.Tuvshinjargal won bronze medals in women’s +80kg and absolute weight category
respectively.
