B.Enkhkhuslen sets national record

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Four Mongolian athletes competed in the FINA World Championships that took place in Gwangju, Republic of Korea between July 12 and 28. On July 26, Kh.Enkhzul participated in the women’s 50m butterfly event, swimming a time of 30.80.

 

On the same day, M.Delgerkhuu also competed in the men’s 50m freestyle event, setting a new national record with a time of 23.93, and qualifying for the International Master title. In the event with a total of 135 athletes competing, he ranked 72nd. Previously, he finished second in heat three of the men’s 100m freestyle event, setting a new national record with a time of 54.43.


On July 27, IM B.Enkhkhuslen finished the heat five of the women’s 50m freestyle event with a time of 27.66 setting a new national record. Out of the 101 athletes that competed in the event, she ranked 58th. Previously, she finished third in heat four of women’s 100m freestyle event with a time of 59.76.


Alongside their individual events, the four athletes competed in the mixed 4x100m freestyle relay event, setting a new national record with a time of 3:50.99.
