300 writers and 120 organizations taking part in 'Ulaanbaatar Book Fair'Video
With a motto ‘Children – the Future of Mongolia’, the ‘Ulaanbaatar Book Fair’ annual festival opened at the Sukhbaatar Square.
The opening ceremony of the event, which is being organized under the auspices of the Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, was attended by Speaker of the State Great Khural Mr G.Zandanshatar, Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Mr S.Amarsaikhan, Director of the MONTSAME national news agency Ms B.Ganchimeg, Head of the ‘World with Book Culture’ NGO B.Suvd, writers and relevant officials.
The MONTSAME national news agency is serving as the media partner of 'Ulaanbaatar Book Fair' to widen the scope of the festival and promote its format and features both nationally and globally.
With involvement of 300 writers and 120 organizations, this year’s festival is taking place in wider scope compared to the previous years.
Russia is participating in the event as guest country. The festival will run at the Sukhbaatar Square until May 25.
