B.Khulan becomes world youth jiu jitsu championSports
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. B.Khulan competed in the 70 kg weight class of the World Youth Jiu Jitsu Championship, becoming the world champion by winning the gold medal. The girls’ matches of the youth championship took place on April 21.
Of the total of 9 Mongolian athletes competed in the gray, yellow and blue belt matches in the girls’ matches, five athletes have claimed medals, with 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals. While G.Battsetseg also won the gold medal from the yellow belt 52 kg weight class, B.Battsetseg and B.Baasansuren won silver in 57 kg and 48 kg weight classes of the gray belt matches, and G.Munkhtuya won bronze from the yellow belt 40 kg.
