Our athletes ranked 36th in the Dakar Rally

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ National athletes U.Byambadelger and U.Byambatsogt competing in the UTV Open class of the 2019 Dakar Rally were ranked 36th in the seventh stage, covering 323 km in 6 hours and 23 minutes.
Starting from the seventh stage, our athletes appeared on the official broadcasting of Dakar Rally, which shows their level of achievement.
N.Lkhamaa who was competing in the motorbike class stopped his race after the sixth stage held on Sunday. He posted on his Facebook “The 156 rally truck ran over my helmet put on the ground for warning, while I was struggling to get my bike out of sand. Thank you all, for the support.”
Mongolian athletes started participating in the motorbike class of Dakar Rally in 2013 and in the car class since 2015.
