Semi-final tournament of National Draughts Championships held

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ A
semi-final tournament of National Draughts Championship 2019 took place on January
11-13 in Ulaanbaatar.
It involved 153 men and 62
women players from 15 aimags, six districts, 18 sport clubs and organizations.
In men’s event of the Swiss
system match, P.Erkhembileg from ‘Debut’ club led with 15 scores, followed by
G.Ganjargal and B.Purevbaatar.
In women’s event, E.Khuslen
from ‘Golden boy’ club topped with 16 scores, followed by B.Misheel and
M.Nyamjargal.
Draught players B.Tuvshin (Dornogobi
aimag), A.Dashchirev (Khan-Uul district), B.Esui (Mongeni school) and
N.Lkhagvadolgor (Shine Mongol school) qualified to obtain sports master title.
Players who took first nine
places in each category will compete for the final round to be organized in April
this year.
