B.Shoovdor wins bronze medal at World Wrestling Championships

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ B.Shoovdor won a bronze medal in women’s 59 kg at the Senior World Wrestling Championships taking place in Budapest, Hungary. She became a medalist of the World Championships by defeating Romero Bonilla, a wrestler from Mexico by 4:2.


She won over wrestlers from the USA and India but she was lost to Turkish wrestler Elif Yesilirmak and qualified to have a wrestling for a bronze medal.


Since she took part in the 2015 World Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas first, she has been wrestling on the international arena and capturing medals.


Mongolian teams have claimed two bronze medals at the Senior World Wrestling Championships. T.Tuvshintulga claimed a bronze in men’s 61 kg and B.Shoovdor in women’s 59 kg whereas O.Nasanburmaa qualified to wrestle for a gold medal tomorrow, October 25.
