‘Mongolian heritage spread around the world’ program discussion held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 10, discussion and introduction of ‘Mongolian heritage spread around the world’ program was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Within the program, a 20-volume catalogue about  Mongolian historic and cultural heritages being kept in other countries will be published and a digital database will be created.

Representatives of the International Association for Mongolian Studies (IAMS), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Cultural and Arts Department, National Center of Cultural heritage, National Library, General Archival Authority, researchers and scholars, senior diplomats and renowned cultural and social figures gave comments and suggestions, expressing their support for the program. It was decided to establish sub-councils of all fields for preparation works.

The program initiated by the IAMS will be implemented jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2018-2020.
