Mongolian athletes takes 9th at World Nomad Games

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 3rd World Nomad Games was successfully wrapped up on September 8 in Cholpon-Ata city of the Kyrgyz Republic.
 
Mongolia was represented by 80 athletes for the Games, which brought together more than 2000 athletes from 80 countries. Moreover, Mongolia's national wrestling was included this year in the program of the Games for the first time, in which Falcon of State D.Anar became a winner of the wrestling, followed by Altansukh, a wrestler from Inner Mongolia.

With the number of medals, the Games was topped by athletes of Kyrgyzstan, host of the Games, followed by Kazakhstan and Russia. The Mongolian athletes have won two gold, four silver and 11 bronze medals at the World Nomad Games, standing at nineth.
