School holidays to begin on March 22

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Spring school holidays will begin on March 22 in the capital city and continue until April 1. As for aimag and soum-level schools, spring holidays will be between March 26 and April 8.
At the beginning of the academic year 2017-2018, spring break was scheduled from March 23 to April 5, but the timing was altered pursuant to a ministerial ordinance issued on February 6.
The Education Minister has also altered the summer holiday schedule. Summer break of primary schools was expected to begin on May 25, and of secondary and high schools on June 8.
With the new schedule, pupils of the 1st-2nd grades will enjoy summer break starting from June 1, the 3rd-5th grades from June 8, and the 6th-12th grades from June 15.
