Polar Star Order awarded to Sergey Bubka

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In accordance with a decree of the President of Mongolia, the Polar Star Order has been awarded to Sergey Nazarovych Bubka, Senior Vice President of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). It was granted on Friday by Z.Enkhbold, Chief of Staff of President’s Office.
“In high recognition of his contributions to developing athletics in Mongolia, supporting young people and developing the friendly relations and cooperation in the socio-economic sector of Mongolia, Sergey Nazarovych Bubka, Senior Vice President of the IAAF and President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, is hereby awarded the Polar Star Order,” the President's decree says.
