Mongolian weightlifters brought home 12 medals from Asian Championship

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 51st Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sport Championship took place in Seoul, Republic of Korea on August 20-26. Following their success in the tournament, Mongolian athletes held a press brief meeting today, on August 31.
Secretary of Mongolian Bodybuilding and Fitness Association S.Odbaatar informed “A total of 385 athletes of 26 countries have competed in 31 categories and Mongolian team of athletes brought home 4 gold, 3 silver, 4 bronze medals and women’s team won the second place with total score”.
More specifically, the gold medalists were N.Tuvshinbayar, B.Oyundari, G.Uyanga of Ulaanbaatar Fitness Club and G.Ugalztsetseg. Under the guidance of 3 coaches, Mongolian team consisted of 23 athletes.
