6 wildfires in Batsumber of Tuv aimag extinguished

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 16, 6 wildfires in Batsumber soum of Tuv aimag has been fully extinguished thanks to cloud seeding. A team headed by S.Enkhtuvshin, Chairman of the Meteorological and Environmental Monitoring Agency, conducted cloud seeding operations 8 times in the night of 16 and 17 July there. 5 equipment worth of MNT27 million were handed over to the inter-soum forest protection unit.
Moreover, a working group headed by Minister of Envirionment and Tourism D.Oyunkhorol is working in Batsumber soum. One day salary donation by the Ministry staff was also presented to the Governor’s office of Batsumber for people who have worked in the firefighting.
