GDP grows by 4.2 percent

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ GDP by production approach reached MNT 5,726.4 billion at current prices and MNT 3,063.9 billion at 2010 constant price in the first quarter of 2017, up 20.9 percent at current prices and 4.2 percent at constant prices compared to same period of the previous year.
GDP by expenditure approach reached MNT 5,555.1 billion at current price, MNT 3,146.3 billion at 2010 constant price in the first quarter of 2017, up 17.8 percent at current price and 4.2 percent at constant price compared to same period of the previous year.
The share of final consumption, gross capital formation, and net export in GDP was 69.1 percent, 28.8 percent, and net export 2.1 percent respectively. Compared to same period of the previous year, the share of gross capital consumption in GDP increased 11.6 points while that of the final consumption and net exports decreased 10.5 points and 1.1 point respectively.
