Opera Singer G.Ariunbaatar awarded Chinggis Khaan Order
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Grand Prix Winner of the 15th International Tschaikovsky Competition and soloist of Mariinsky Theatre G.Ariunbaatar was awarded the Order of Chinggis Khaan by the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj, at the Hour of the Horse of October 31.
The high state prize was given on the occasion of the 854th anniversary of the birth of the Great Chinggis Khaan, the Day of Mongolian Pride.
The Order of Chinggis Khaan is awarded each year to a person, who has made a priceless contribution to consolidating the independence, sovereignty and the national unity, safeguarding and passing down of cultural and historic heritages to the younger generations, and promoting Mongolia's prestige in the global level.
