WB Country Director in East Asia and Pacific meets PM of Mongolia
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The head of the Mongolian Government, Mr J.Erdenebat received on Monday the World Bank’s Country Director for China, Mongolia and Korea, Mr Bert Hofman.
The sides exchanged opinions on maintaining the dynamic cooperation between Mongolia and the World Bank, and possibilities of collaboration in the programs for ensuring Mongolia’s economic growth and in developing feasibility studies of major projects, which are vital for Mongolia’s prosperity.
Mr Hofman extended gratitude for the new government’s effective and transparent actions for improving the country macroeconomic circumstances and the budget policy, although the economic condition was critical when the Prime Minister took power.
