Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia issued a Decree on August 15 to award the outstanding scholars and scientists of Mongolia and other countries with the State Orders and Medals for their contribution to the development of Mongol studies. The President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj has handed over the following Orders and Medals and congratulated the outstanding figures. 

Merit Worker of Science was conferred to teacher of the National University of Mongolia, Prof. Dr. G.Tserenkhand; officer of the Institute of Language and Literature of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Prof. Dr. J.Tsoloo;
Order of Labour Merit was conferred to officer of Institute of Language and Literature of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences R.Otgonbaatar;
Order of Solar Star was conferred to a citizen of Russia, a member of the International Association for Mongol Studies, Mongolist Elena Boikova; Vice Director of the Mongolian State University of Culture and Arts Ch.Altantsetseg; a citizen of Japan, a member of the International Association for Mongol Studies, Mongolist Hiroki Oka; a teacher of the National University of Mongolia M.Bayarsaikhan; a citizen of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, a member of the International Association for Mongol Studies, Mongolist J.Rinchindorj; a teacher of the National University of Mongolia D.Burnee; a citizen of Russia, a teacher of the University of Irkutsk Evgenii Ivanovich Lishtovanny; a citizen of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, a member of the International Association for Mongol Studies, Mongolist Kh.Choijinjav; a teacher of the National University of Mongolia D.Bayarsaikhan; a citizen of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, Director of the University of Teacher B.Burenjargal; an officer of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences J.Gerelbadrakh; a citizen of France, teacher of the University of Le Havre, Prof. Dr. Pierre Chabal; Vice Director of the National University of Mongolia P.Delgerjargal; Director of the Institute of History and Archeology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences G.Myagmarsambuu;
Peace Medal was conferred to a citizen of Germany, a member of the International Association for Mongol Studies, Mongolist Uta Schöne; a citizen of Germany, a member of the International Association for Mongol Studies, Mongolist Rodika Pop; a citizen of Germany, a member of the International Association for Mongol Studies, Mongolist Ines Stolpe; a citizen of Russia, an officer of the State Hermitage Museum of Russia Mark Grigorievich Kramarovsky; and a citizen of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China, a teacher of the University of Inner Mongolia S.Nasan-Urt, respectively, reports president.mn.
